All sales and services are performed by Docofil in strict compliance with the client and under the reciprocal acceptance of these General Sales Conditions, which prevail against those of the client or agent, that are deemed as non-existent.
I.
The minimum value of purchases starts at €1.000 and goes up to €5.000. From this value, all orders will be coordinated by a staff member.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the client is bound to accept a 10% variation of the ordered quantity.
II.
After placing the order, a staff member will get in touch with ship times specific to the client’s order.
The transport of the goods is assumed by the client and all risks incurred are borne by him.
If the transport is assured by Docofil, any term of loading or for delivery can involve a tolerance of 30 days exceeding the expiration of the term.
We do not accept order cancellations.
The client has the right to return items within 8 days from landing date and no claim shall be admissible after this period, unless otherwise stated.
Only the returned items in their original condition – unwashed, unworn, with original hangtag and packaging – will be accepted. Docofil reserves the right not to accept the returns of untampered items.
All returns must be agreed in advance with our services.
Customized orders cannot be returned or canceled.
III.
Our prices are ex-works and exclude travel costs, insurance, custom duties and any additional costs that shall be chargeable to the client. Terms of payment are 30% with order confirmation and 70% before delivery, via bank wire transfer.
The client benefit from a 3% discount on pre-paid orders.
In the event of payment default, Docofil is entitled to suspend with immediate effect the delivery of the goods and implies the late-payment interest, at the legal rate in force.
IV.
If the client fails to perform any of his obligations set forth herein, he shall pay damages amounting 15% of the sum due.
The products are at the client’s own risk from the time of delivery.
We accept no responsibility for hidden defect, unless we were aware of it at the time of delivery of the goods.
The present general conditions are governed exclusively by the Portuguese Legislation and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese Courts.
V.
i. All yarns used by Docofil are tested on a batch sample basis and certified in official laboratories. During the manufacturing process, some alterations may occur that are not the responsibility of Docofil.
ii. The composition of the raw materials used may vary which may lead to the presence of unidentified fibers and/or materials.
iii. Colour differences are controlled using the spectrophotometer within the limit of 1,2, on the D65 illuminant.
iv. Due to the manufacturing and finish process on combed products, some alterations may occur, such as, variation in the composition of the article, slight changes after washing or color variation.
v. There might be size variations of approx. 3%.
